Heather Tuck, School Counselor
Hello! My name is Heather Tuck and I am the School Counselor here at Mary Blount Elementary. As your School Counselor, I provide social and emotional support for all students. I am able to do this through weekly Guidance classes with Kindergarten through 2nd grades, and classes with 3rd through 5th grades half of the school year. In addition to working with kids in my class, I also provide individual counseling and also small group counseling, as needed. As a part of our School Support Team, I advocate for students, as well as meet with parents and teachers to find the best ways to help kids be successful in school. I am also our schools 504 Coordinator, Homeless Liaison, and Second Harvest "Food for Kids" Coordinator. I have loved being a Mary Blount Bear for over 25 years, and I'm here to help you and your family as you establish the important foundation for your education.
