Mary Blount Elementary was established in 1988 and is the largest elementary school in all of Blount County, serving approximately 600 students, PreK through 5th grade.  Mary Blount is home to 44 classrooms, including three CDC programs and one developmental PreK program.  Mary Blount also serves the ESL population for the south zone of Blount County.  Mary Blount was a Tennessee Reward School in 2020 and a Level 5 school in 2018 and 2021.  Mary Blount is a feeder school of Union Grove Middle and William Blount High schools.  Our focus is on developing the literacy and numeracy skills necessary for our students to achieve academic excellence throughout our students' educational careers.
